String of Hope
" String of Hope "
Acrylic and oil on denim
24” x 36”
"This painting is an attempt to capture the play of thoughts on how I'm still hanging on the thin lining of my reason against my own madness brought by the sudden change of the world around me, of my lost comfort zones, the shift of every plan and all uncertainties that's happening that my mind couldn't gasp. It tries to mirror my realization that while my physical body's bounded, the artist in me grew a triving crown of succulent on my shoe, that represents my life's journey. It's a realization that I was always free through art that saved me not just from the virus but from insanity, because I could create even in my stillnes and everything else will follow. - Jie Adamat"
