"My painting is a recreation of an important scene from the Jehovah's Witnesses publication, which holds deep significance for their community. The event being depicted is the annual commemoration of the death of Jesus, which is observed by Jehovah's Witnesses in obedience to his command: "Keep doing this in remembrance of me." (Luke 22:19). This solemn occasion is a time for reflection and contemplation on the sacrifice of Jesus and its profound impact on the lives of believers, as well as a reminder of the enduring power of faith and devotion. Through my painting, I hope to honor the traditions and beliefs of the Jehovah's Witnesses community, and to inspire viewers to reflect on the significance of this momentous event in the Christian faith."
