The sensation of listlessness and disinterest in activities, commonly associated with depression or a lack of enjoyment, is a universal experience that many of us have encountered at various stages in our lives. However, melancholy surpasses mere grief or sadness, as it represents a manifestation of the very essence of one's wretchedness and dispiritedness, as expressed by the very soul of the afflicted.

Jessie M. Tadeo Jr., is a visual artist who lives in Concepcion Tarlac. He is a Graduate of Bachelor of Fine Arts Major in Advertising at Tarlac State University. He also completed his Master's Degree in Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas in 2020. He is currently teaching at Tarlac State University in Tarlac Province as a college instructor. Jessie developed his creative skills together with experiences gained from his studies and by being a freelance artist for the people interested in his artworks. As a visual art teacher, Jessie focuses on learning different styles in the field of painting industry and sharing the knowledge gained by our country’s future visual artists. Jessie’s work is normally inspired by his personal experiences, environment, social issues, Filipino culture and heritage.
