The Piece is inspired from Michael Jackson’s Black or White, a very inspiring song.m to date. The daily struggles one faces on inequality. The monochromatic colors tells us that we are all one and the same.
Anne was born in Manila and has been into arts since she was a toddler. Growing up from a family of artist, she inherited an artistic talent. In her younger years, she has won in multiple art contests. Drawing became a way of expressing herself. She would draw, paint, or do art crafts as a source of therapy and relaxation as a mom and an airline pilot. Her works are mostly representational art with human figures. She has explored the use of different mediums and genres in art. She is very fond of textured art finishes and mixed media. Some of her works have been exhibited at Art Show Philippines Gallery Walk, Cevio ArtHaus, and Coffee Klatch 2021. She has artworks on display at Rest-Art and Tub N’ Cup Cafe. She has been in the top 20 finalist in the recent KUNST 2021 National Competition. She is an active member of Art Show Philippines, Visual Poetry Philippines, and Aral Artist Community.
