Ferdinand hails from Paete, Laguna, where the art of carving is innate and in the blood of every citizen. He dreams of continuing their town’s legacy by incorporating their primary craft of wood and paper into his works. Ferdinand believes that everything in this world should be used to its full potential, including things that most people neglect. With those materials, he is inspired to combine his own interpretation of traditional and conventional ways of art and to create his own signature-- not only to be an artist but to be able to speak his purpose into the world and to make a difference with the generations to come.
